A Bill Passed To Allow CBD with a Trace of THC

With a strong majority, the Kansas House signed a bill on Tuesday that would allow people with life threatening medical conditions to receive treatment with CBD oil with a small amount of THC. The House passed it after being urged by a Wichita, KS, area couple. Their 12 year old daughter, Lola, suffers from microencephaly, where a child\’s brain doesn\’t fully develop and the child has an usually small brain for his or her age. This condition already took her sister Claire\’s life in December 2018. The bill is called Claire and Lola\’s Law, and is named after both girls. It states that the use of the cannabidiol treatment preparation is authorized to treat certain medical conditions.
