How to Use CBD

Our current Full Spectrum CBD Oil comes only in one concentration. We will be adding more but we believe keeping it simple without the gimmicks is the best way to help people. Our 15ml bottle with 500mg of CBD is the equivalent of 1000mg of a more standard 30ml bottle found in most stores.

So it is important to note here that in this case, a “1000mg” label on a bottle does NOT mean it is more potent than a 500mg bottle of a smaller size. It simply means there is more oil in the larger bottle. Also another consideration is that if we filled the same 15ml bottle with 2000mg of CBD, that oil would be impossible for most people to ingest directly under the tongue and swallow because the concentration will be too strong. They would need to dilute it in some orange juice or other liquid to easy the swallowing. So unless you are a schizophrenia patient who needs to take over a 100mg a day, it is better to simply purchase more of the 500mg bottle. You can also ask us about bulk discounts.

Our medical advisers recommend titrating by starting low and increasing the dosage as needed to achieve the desired results. The goal is to figure out how much or how little you need to take to get results. Always use the minimum amount necessary to achieve your goals. This saves money and decreases the amount you need to consume.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I TAKE?

Everyone is different, so the question depends on two things: Your own endocannabinoid system and the reason you are seeking a full spectrum CBD product. You will see recommended servings on the bottle you purchased, but that number is only a suggestion.

As you can see on your bottle, if you take a full serving you will be consuming approximately 24 drops (a “full dropper”) and of course a half serving would be approximately 12 drops (a “half dropper”) . You may want to start with half and then increase or decrease as needed. The first bottle will partly be used to figure out what works for you. You may find that you take different amounts for different ailments. For example, you may take half a dropper for sleep but just a full dropper for stress. The first bottle allows you to figure it out so you can calculate how much you need per week and month.

Increase your dosage every 2 or 3 days to allow your body to get used to and settle in with the supplement, half a dropper (~12 drops) at a time. Some have reported that they need over a month for their body to acclimate to the CBD before it started working, and some had it work within minutes.

Keep in mind there is no doctor, scientist, friend, or CBD retailer that can tell you what you should take for your condition, so beware of them and make sure you only titrate and discover your dosage for yourself only.

Micro servings are considered a low level, in the range of 0.5 mg to 20 mg of CBD per serving per day. Micro servings can be helpful for sleep, headache, mood disorders, nausea, PTSD, stress, and metabolic disorders. Our full dropper in our 600MG 15ml bottle is 40mg of CBD.

Standard servings are the mid-range, between 10 mg to 100 mg of CBD per day. Standard servings have been shown to be helpful for pain, inflammation, autoimmune disorders, Lyme disease, anxiety, depression, arthritis, some mental disorders, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel syndrome, autism, and weight loss.

Macro (or therapeutic) servings are at the high range, between 50 mg and 800 mg of CBD per day. Servings at this level are often used to assist with severe or life-threatening conditions.

Using Pain Relief Topical Cream

The CBD infused pain relief topical cream can assist in some pain associated with a specific localized area. These areas can include, but not limited to, the elbow, knee, shoulder, neck, foot, hand, and more. The pain relief cream is formulated for maximum penetration into the skin to distribute our key ingredients including the CBD. You may also use the CBD tincture this way, but in our experiences, the cream does a better job topically

However, for maximum effectiveness, it is best to apply a dime sized portion of cream on your finger tips, apply and rub onto the affected area for at least 60 seconds causing some heat friction, and then taking your usual dosage of the CBD oil tincture. The cream long has been proven to work on most people, but taken together, the positives effects are magnified.

The endocannabinoid system consists of many cannabinoid receptors, and a large portion of these are found in the skin. Molecules in cannabis such as THC and CBD may interact with this system to create positive effects. One study in the British Journal of Pharmacology found that phytocannabinoids, particularly CBD may control cell proliferation and differentiation. For further explanation please look into this study further. We are not permitted to make claims in regard to treatments. For any medical treatment you should consult a healthcare professional.

You may always use trial and error to see what works best for you.

ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM (ECS)

The Endocannabinoid system is known as the fourth regulatory system in the body. Although many well-trained physicians and medical professionals don’t know it exists because it wasn’t even discovered until the 1990’s. Israel Scientist, Dr. Raphael Mechoulam is now known as the “father” of cannabinoids. He states that each one of us has a unique endocannabinoid system that helps our bodies regulate appetite, sleep, pain, mood, memory, our immune system and so much more.

The ECS consists of cannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors. When cannabinoids such as CBD and THC enter the body the ECS system is activated because these molecules attach to these receptors.

There are two types of cannabinoid receptors, CB1 and CB2. When cannabinoids bind to these receptors they cause changes in how cells function. THC primarily binds to CB1 receptors which are primarily found in the brain and are responsible for the intoxicating effects of marijuana. CBD primarily binds to CB2 receptors which are found throughout the body and are responsible for a wide range of biological functions.

Your body and your ECS is unique and is not based on weight, therefore finding your right serving size is achieved through patience and a bit of trial and error.
