The Endocannabinoid System

The Endocannabinoid system (ECS) works with the body\’s ECS messenger receptors to allow the body to achieve balance in regulating many body functions and systems. These include the organ and tissue systems, and also the central nervous system. Here in the CNS, brain functions such as mood and emotion are put into a homeostatic, or balanced, state, when the chemical messengers are released.
