This year has seen both a deadly pandemic and an unprecedented presidential election, and anxiety levels have increased among American consumers, who are using more CBD than before.
This increase amounts to 20% of the consumers\’ using more CBD due primarily to Covid19. This rise in the amount of cannabis consumed dates back to June 2020, where both cannabis and CBD users participated in a study. Both new and current cannabis consumers are developing a more proactive mental health care management, and the study also takes into account how certain behaviors and conditions may continue even after the pandemic.
Consumers in the study were knowledgeable about cannabis, and more than three quarters say they consider themselves to be intermediate or advanced cannabis users. 8 out of 10 consumers said that they use both cannabis and CBD products.
