In a meeting in Las Vegas, a few Native American tribes expressed opinions on managing the many aspects of the cannabis industry. They spoke to the Chief Executive Officers of a cannabis company and a consulting firm, about entering this industry. The tribes were interested in finding people who could partner with them not just in a vendor capacity, but also in a role for the entire cannabis process. A board member of one of the cannabis companies, who is also the CEO of another cannabis firm, told an online Native publication that the tribes wanted co-managers who could work with them from the beginning to the end of the process from building to operating a cannabis firm.
The meeting between the CEO and board member of two cannabis operations was the inception of a new cannabis firm that was established on April 20th. The company debuted on June 14th, at the Native American Cannabis and Hemp Conference. In the press release, the CEO said that the firm was based in Nevada and wanted to expand talks with tribes on the West Coast.
Since there are many aspects to the cannabis business operation, the new company combines the services of three components for cannabis firms. To begin with, agricultural lighting systems for cannabis growth are needed, and then vertical growth equipment is required to manage the plants\’ environment and feeding. The third step is that a consulting firm assisted the tribes with developing convenience stores where the products can be sold. This approach was set up to reduce the costs for the new cannabis company and also for the Native American tribes with which it works.
