The New York State Department of Health issued regulations on Wednesday, October 28th, on the processing of Cannabinoid hemp products. This legislation included standards for CBD and hemp extracts added to food and beverages. The Cannabinoid Hemp Program will be created to license hemp processors and retailers in order to establish standards for the quality control for laboratory testing, production, packaging and labelling of hemp products.
