Both the CDC and the Americans For Safe Access (ASA) organizations have held meetings to talk about expanding medical cannabis use. The director of ASA, who uses cannabis for pain management from having had Lyme\’s disease, said that the CDC was responsive in an open exchange of information on cannabis use as an alternative to opioid medications.
